Found a race track! sadly no one there, so i left.

This was in Greenland, i wanted to go someplace cold, but what ran into was a John Wayne dance off. Some one there told me i needed a hat and boots to participate. I said "brb" but never came back.. loosers

I have no idea how i got here. I think i might of just droped from the sky, but no one was in the house, and it looked like a cool place to crash. The guy even had a boat.. i couldnt take it out tho
1.In World vs. Real World: How is the virtual society different than our real world society?
2.How was your group meeting in world different, better or worse than the meeting in Blackboard Vista's chat groups that your instructors set up for this course?
3.How can virtual worlds like Second Life enhance the teaching and learning experiences for students?
4.What are the implications for the arts and society?

1. In world we feel like we’re always alone because there is no one around us. When we went out on our own we didn’t see anyone. Society in the real world is connected and you can share bonds with people a lot easier than Second Life.
2. In world group chat is a lot better the chat in BP Vista. Instead of just reading text in a chat you can see someone move around and you can talk and listen instead of text or you can do both. In chat you really can’t do gestures except when you say it but in world you can see it as well. There is also ways f building something or sharing in world that you can’t do in chat.
3. They can enhance them by using Second Life as a field trip instead of spending money to go see the real thing. You can experience different cultures or learn about them through pictures that are uploaded onto Second Life. There are simulations students can use to help enhance their understanding of different concepts.
4. There is so much art on Second Life it’s almost like a database for art. In Second Life you can create art or buildings. Make clothes and change your appearance to look like art. Society there really wasn’t much that we saw of difference, because we didn’t see any society.

great quote

this is one of the best quotes to coem from this genocide. It speaks that remaining nuetral only ensures your own destruction..

The front of the building. Inside is just the "night of the broken glass". thats all they have so far. inside is eyewitness reports and police records to show you what happened.

Visiting diffrent holocaust museums and locations. Lots of history at the US one nto some much palestine.

Random art place i found. All the pictures were a bit blurry like most things in second life but some pictures are fine like this one here.

SL going green

Second Life is going green! Even in the virtual world they are going green and realize the importance of renewable energy.

This shot of me was taken in a museum of some sorts. Every wall is covered with pictures of art. You if notice in this picture, there are hearts on the wall, which say Valentine's Day. Interesting...

This is my favorite shot of all of them that I took. This is a shot of me sitting on a ledge looking out onto the bay. Behind me is a beautiful waterfall running into the bay. On top of this hill, there is a mansion that overlooks everything. You can actually see part of the house in the background.
This is a screenshot of my avatar sitting and watching a campfire. If you notice, it seems like the owner of this fire is burning furniture, for whatever reason. Also, around the fire there was furniture around with no organization... possibly more fire wood?

This picture to the right is of a tour ship that offers players a guided tour. If you were to enter the ship, they offer different packages for players to buy.
Here's a picture of my Avatar laying on a couch in a mansion.

Tunel of light

This was called the tunel of light. I dont really think it was suposed to look like this it was really pixelated. After falling for a while through this tunnel i landed around some giant tea cups. It was really weird.

Robots

I also visited the robot museum. Here you could walk through and look at crazy robots and read about them. They even had a celebrity robot section. Here you could see robots like Rosie from the jetsons.

Cartoonimals

this was a place called cartoonimals. Its a place where you can buy cartoon wild. It was pretty weird. There were cats and monkeys and aligators. Traveling around you could find all types of animals.
